We use only the best produce for all our food at The Gourmet Grocer. We shop from local farmers where we can to ensure seasonal fresh ingredients are being used.
We use Irish Free Range Chicken and the best of Irish prime beef.
We do not believe in waste so with leftover cuttings of veg and meat we make our own in-house stock to be used for soups and sauces.

Clara, our Head Chef and owner of The Gourmet Grocer is Ballymaloe trained and has grown up surrounded by good food going back generations. From her Great Grandfather owning an organic Vegetable Farm to her Grandfather being a Baker and her Mum having a small bread business Claras family has always known the importance of good food from local Irish sources.

Our food has no additives and is predominantly GF besides the obvious ones that contain flour etc.

We cater for small to medium-sized parties or you can also book family meals ahead of the weekend!

We have a wonderful selection of wines from independent family-run vineyards across the world whose ethos is all about sustainability, utilising their own vines, and continuously improving on their organic methods to produce the best of wines. You can also order these in advance of any event.
